The DM-U.2F PXI Express Storage Unit provides up to 60.14 TB of NVME solid state storage in a single PXI Express slot. It addresses the requirements of users who need the high performance of NVME storage with the latest high capacity devices. This includes data recording applications requiring exception write performance and the highest possible storage capacity in a single PXIe slot. Drive options are also available with encryption capabilities to protect and secure sensitive or secret data.
Each DM-U.2F directly connects the NVME drive to the PXIe backplane with 4 lanes of PCI Express Gen 3 and supports data rates up to 4GB/s per unit. Performance and storage capacity can be increased by arranging multiple units in a software RAID configuration.
The DM-U.2F complies with PCIe Gen3 protocol standards and uses industry standard NVM Express (NVME) solid state storage devices. NVME storage devices bypass traditional storage controllers by using a direct to PCI Express connection for the best possible performance. The NVME drives are compatible with most operating systems including Windows 10, Windows 11 and Linux using standard OS provided drivers.
